An opportunity for those without sight to touch the water&#8217;s ripples, to harness the wind, and to carve out strokes of independence on a canvas as vast and embracing as the lakes themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inaugural year was more than a mere success\u2014it was a proclamation that sailing is an endeavor of skill and tactile sensation, not just a visual pursuit. For the visually impaired, it&#8217;s a fresh breeze of self-reliance, letting them steer their course, feel the boat\u2019s response to their commands, and interact with a crew in a dance of precision and trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now, as the organization sails into its second year, the sails are set even higher. Katy and her team are focusing on expanding their program, reaching out to more participants, and building an even stronger community.
